If you are a horse owner, a horse lover, or employed in the horse
industry, we offer you a convenient, affordable, and fun way to study
equine science with renowned experts.
You will spend three and one half days every other month in Ocala,
Florida, Horse Capital of the World, studying matters relevant to
horse management and ownership. Locomotion of the horse and horse
farm agronomic will excite your intelligence and sharpen your insights
in equine care and technology.
Professor
Emeritus Tom Lane, DVM, along with adjunct faculty and peers with
years of experience in equine science, have assembled a university
level course of study in a unique learning format of concentrated
study. This experience will offer you an opportunity to learn from
the best and meet exciting and interesting fellow students who have
similar interests.
We see you as an individual. Our staff and faculty are committed
to your individual success at the International Equine School. Class
sizes will be small enough for the faculty to discuss individual
progress and needs. The staff is dedicated to helping you be successful,
and providing an environment in which you will enjoy your progress
toward success in your studies.
We believe in learning the fundamentals. We want you to be effective.
Each student will have different goals. Some may have their own horse
operation. Others may want to manage an equine center. Or, you simply
might want to get more out of your personal experience with a horse.
We hope to provide you with the knowledge necessary to reach that
intended goal.
In
summary, our goals focus on you, your goals and objectives and how
you can achieve those goals in the future.
And finally, we want you to enjoy your experience at The International
Equine School.
We invite you to try this unique experience.
